ABOUT OUR SOAPS:

Our soaps are Hand-Milled which allows for the goodness of oils to be preserved at the very end of the soap making process.  Hand Milling means our soap is made without additives or fragrances, allowed to cure for at least two weeks, and then shredded, melted and molded with the additives and/or fragrances introduced at the very end.

SOAP INGREDIENTS:

Our soaps are made with two recipes:

Goat's Milk Soaps:  Water, Coconut Oil, Palm Oil, Olive Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Palm Kernel Flakes, Castor Bean Oil, Goats Milk Powder

Shea Butter Soaps:  Ingredients (Common Name): Water, Coconut Oil, Palm oil, Olive Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Sodium Hydroxide, Palm Kernel Oil, Castor Oil, Apricot Kernel oil, Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter, Mango Butter

STORING YOUR SOAPS:

Our soaps store very well in a cool, dry place.  After using our soaps, it is best to allow the soap to dry in between uses, in a soap dish that allows for the water to drain.

ABOUT OUR WAX:

WAX BLEND:

We use a parasoy wax blend for our wax melts.

WAX BAGS:

We use 2 ml polypropylene bags for our wax melts.  Our bakery bags are polypropylene lined also.

WAX CUTTING:

The wax can be cut with a wa cutter or knife.  Microwaving the wax for 10 to 15 second intervals will soften the wax slightly so it is easier to cut, if necessary.

WAX CURING:

Our wax is usually ready to melt when you receive it; however, a two week cure time from the date of pour is recommended.

SCENT THROW:

There are several factors that can affect the hot throw of wax that include the location of the warmers; the wattage of the warmers, the air flow of a home; the fragrance oil used; or even a person's nose.  sometimes, changing the location of the warmers or the amount of wax used can make a difference.

HOW MUCH WAX TO USE:

We recommend using one clamshell block, a thin slice or the equivalent of about 1/2 ounce of wax.

WAX STORAGE:

We recommend storing the wax in a polypropylene bag in order to retain the fragrance.  Storing wax in a cool, dark place such as a tote, is recommended.
